Catherine Anaya is a Media Personality.
She is a television and radio host, emcee, motivational speaker, video storyteller, media trainer, award- winning columnist, blogger and owner/CEO of 4Hearts Media. Catherine co-hosts the television talk show Arizona Daily Mix, weekday mornings at 8am on AZTV. She’s also a regular host of The Women’s Eye radio show, which airs on 1480 KPHX and is podcast on iTunes. The proud mother of two and wife is also a three-time Emmy Award- winning former television news anchor of more than 25 years.
She recently anchored at CBS 5 News for more than 12 years. Prior to that she worked in Los Angeles, Indiana and Texas. Catherine has won numerous awards including ‘Anchor of the Year’ by the Arizona Associated Press Broadcasters Association. Her career highlights include interviewing President Obama at the White House and co-anchoring a post-presidential debate with the legendary Walter Cronkite.
Catherine is a member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists, current secretary of the Arizona Latino News Media Association Board of Directors and is a graduate of the Valley’s Hispanic Leadership Institute (HLI), Class of 2004. She is also an elected member of the Make-A-Wish Arizona Board of Directors. Catherine has won numerous awards and honors including being named an Arizona Latina Trailblazer, 2014.
Catherine is a USC alumna and a USC mom. She is also the founder of the charitable group Sisterhood of Super Women and Director of The Lats Legacy Foundation. She is a spin junkie and a three-time Boston Marathon runner.
